The Remnant

We all have our problems. We all still have to work through whatever sins or ignorance we still have whether we know about them or not. So just as I have said we should not be anti-Catholic with people, we should not be anti-protestant with people either. And we should not be anti-Jewish. All of these people are our brothers and sisters. None of us have all the answers, either. But we should ALL be working on removing the parts of our beliefs that are patently false. Catholics and protestants BOTH need to get back to Sabbath and Torah and get rid of their doctrines of men. Jews need to get back to Torah and get rid of their rabbinical traditions. We are in a time right now where God is building a remnant, but as that remnant is being built in Truth by the power of the Spirit many will remain blinded in willful ignorance.

One of the most important things we can realize about the path we are on, is that ALL of us STARTED out on the same path; The path of faith in a Creator, then faith in a Savior. The wider path that almost everyone ends up on, is not the beginning necessarily. YES, there is a wide path that most take BEFORE they even start down the narrow path, but the one Jesus is referring to is the one that shows up after you start walking the path at all because the enemy is bent on us changing paths or falling into a ditch on either side of the path. Mainstream Christianity is not a narrow path anymore. It is becoming more and more inclusive, as the narrow path is forcing believers into seclusion. It’s a sort of “underground church” that denominations are forcing us into.

As an example, how many denominations preach the simple Truth about the Israelites being divided into 2 kingdoms; the northern kingdom, and the southern kingdom (Judah and Israel)? This is mentioned in over 160 places in the “old testament”. It is the number one theme of the Bible. But how many denominations talk about 3 of the most important prophecies in the old testament:

Eze 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: 17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

Jer 16:14 ¶ Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 15 But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

How many of us have been taught what these verses mean:

Mt 15:24 But Jesus answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mt 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Ac 1:6 ¶ When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

This is the reason that Jesus came. He put an end to the “ordinances against us”, and came to restore Israel to His Kingdom from out of the gentile nations where they were scattered. How many denominations teach THIS doctrine? None that I know of. I know that I throw these scriptures around a lot and on many different pages on this site, but for good reason.

10 of the most important scriptures in the Bible, that the enemy has blinded us to for the most part for 2 thousand years. Two houses are prophesied to become 1 in the last days.

Please realize, in no way is this a “finger-pointing” exercise. It is simply an attempt to create a visual explanation of what seeds we should be planting to help prepare for His great Harvest of Revelation. If we love Christians and Jews, we should be ready to give an answer. But more importantly, the RIGHT answer.

There is so much wrong in churches today, that if you were to know what I believe is Truth, without sitting, spending time and going through the Bible and what it says together (or even more importantly what it DOESN’T say) you would call me a false teacher as so many pastors and elders have. The problem is that most elders don’t really know their Bible. Many pastors don’t either, but also there are very learned men who do know their Bible and were very well trained in what it says, but are told that it says several things that it doesn’t and have a western, Graeco-Roman trained mentality in most cases. And they therefore interpret Scripture (as we all do) based on their Confirmation Bias (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias).

In addition, almost every church we might go to is steeped deeply in repetitive teaching and mantras, or vain babblings as Jesus would call them. We call it worship, or “christian” music. It should be more correctly called “praise” and most praise music is FILLED with mantras of false teaching that indoctrinate and tie our emotions to those false teachings.

Usually, our initial reaction to anything doctrinal is emotional, not logical. That is no accident. The enemy’s seed was planted that way; on purpose. Unfortunately most of us have zero idea when it comes to the languages that Scriptures were written in. YHVH did not choose to write Scripture in English, but His Grace, along with the work of many Godly men, provided us a way to start to understand them in English. That is also no accident/ on purpose. It’s great that we have Bibles in English, but the Bible wasn’t written in English. There is work involved in knowing what the Bible really said/ meant. Just like there is work involved in providing for our families. There is no “Biblical welfare”; We don’t get a free pass to pay our “bills of divorce” from the Christians before us or (the Christians ahead of us) in working to seek Truth any more than people should receive a welfare check because of the work that people who came before them or currently work hard to pay their own bills. If we don’t want to search out Scripture, there is no “Scriptural EBT card”. We sow what we reap; If we don’t sow, we don’t reap.

We must understand the foolish virgins to be certain we are not one of them. There are just so many misconception in the Church. Every denomination has their distinct flavor of error. Some subtle, some not. The first step to finding Truth is stop believing the lie, and the lies are numerous. One of the most important places to start is the misconceptions about end times. See here https://homegroups.org/the-book-of-revelation/

Far be it from me to judge the salvation of any soul. It is not up to me who gets what. But let us remember that this is not new, it’s just new to many of us.

Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Everyone has a lamp who believes in Yeshua, but what good is a lamp if we don’t have any oil? I know that most of us have not been shown these prophecies by pastors, but it is not a pastors’ jobs to teach us Scripture. Especially in the Age of information. During the “age of gentiles”, if you will, going to church was a good thing even thought it wasn’t the RIGHT thing if that’s all we were doing. But now that the fullness of the gentiles is understood, our reasonable service is to seek out the remnant. What this looks like is documented on the vision page of this website. And it comes straight from the Bible; We have to stop getting our theology and eschatology from Hollywood.

We must know, that throughout time there has always been a faithful remnant at key times since the nation divided against itself. And there is no such thing as a “New Testament” that wasn’t mentioned in the “Old Testament”.

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

We must know that there will always be a faithful remnant who are always listening for the still, small voice to receive revelation and understanding from the Holy Spirit as the Father opens our eyes and removes the scales. But there is always a remnant of the adversary as well. The adversary is always producing counterfeits. So we have to go back to the beginning and look at history before the counterparts were created, even the “all-seeing eye” is a Luciferian counterfeit of the True, all knowing, all seeing and all powerful Yahweh. This reality is in some ways like a chess game between Yahweh and the adversary where turns are taken in systematic strategy.

So where did this Remnant of Yahweh (Israel) begin after Abraham and Isaac?

These 12, 13 or 14 Tribes of people are intended to be inside the camp of covenant believers called Israelites. They are those families who are of the line of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and who worship the same Elohim, Yahweh. You might say that Joseph and Benjamin are a type of “2 witnesses”. I’m not yet sure what significance or meaning we get concerning Dinah.

Equally important to understand is the inheritance of each Tribe:

Johns New Jerusalem Vision

In the writings and prophecies of the “old testament” we read that Israel split into 2 kingdoms/ 2 houses with many kings and prophets of both houses. Despite the good kings and the prophets, both houses ended up in captivity:

After good King David’s son Solomon, the 12 tribes split into two kingdoms, the House of Judah and the House of Israel;  The House of Judah (Jews) (2 tribes, led by the tribe of Judah through David’s line) was captured by Babylonians and the house of Israel was captured by Assyria (never to return even until this day).

1. The House of Judah

  • Judah
  • Benjamin
  • later many Levites and Priests joined

2. The House of Israel (Lost Tribes) (10 tribes, led by the descendants of Joseph)

  • Joseph through his sons Ephraim, Manasseh
  • Issachar
  • Zebulun
  • Dan
  • Naphtali
  • Gad
  • Asher
  • Reuben
  • Simeon
  • Levi (scattered amongst all tribes and both houses)

Here is a list of the good and bad kings of each house, or kingdom

There are no accidents, so it is completely intentional that Benjamin inherited Jerusalem and Ephraim and Manasseh (Joseph) one of whom got the double portion. It would appear that Judah got the double portion of bad kings. Look at one of the greatest prophecies rarely told or seen as a prophecy:

Ge 49:22+ ¶ Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace. There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah. The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth. And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.

Rachel cries out for her 2 children, Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) and Benjamin (the brother who connects the others, means “son of the right hand”) in fulfillment of prophecy:

Jer 31:8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
Mt 2:18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

Interesting to note that there are 7 Israelites named Joseph in the Bible which means, “let him add (or perhaps simply active participle- adding);”. There are 3 letters that make up the name Joseph (יוסף), Yod, Shin, Pey. The picture meaning of these letters are “Arm and closed hand, thorn and mouth. Letter meanings are “Work-throw-worship, grab-hate-protect, blow-scatter-edge”. With a paleo- Hebrew mindset one can speculate the meaning and purpose of Joseph: Father will use him to reach out His arm and grab (add to Joseph) those who were a thorn and scattered to the edge because they hated Him, but He will speak to those He protects because they work and worship by blowing (the shofar).

We can see a deeper meaning in all 12 of the sons when we look at their original meanings and translate them instead of transliterating them.

If anyone is not familiar with the concept of paleo-Hebrew, this will probably seem very “Jewish”. But Jews do not have sole propriety on the Hebrew language, or the Hebrew scriptures.

Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

Again, Israel and Judah are not synonymous as 99% of Christians would have you believe. What you see above is not the Jewish alphabet, it is the Hebrew Aleph-Bet. Israel is twelve tribes, not one. Here is a brief glimpse of how those 12 tribes are commanded to be organized:

Ex 18:21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
Ex 18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
De 1:15 So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes. {made: Heb. gave}
1Sa 8:12 And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.

Although today’s churches in America don’t have all the Truth that they should, if you take out the Nicolaitanism it’s not a terribly bad model. We are just missing a lot of what that model is supposed to look like and what it is for (and what it is NOT for).

Remembering the 4 parts of blasts of the trumpet are the Tekia,  Shevarim,  Teruah and again the Tekia, the regathering of the remnant is prophesied (in Ezekiel 20, 34 and 37, Jeremiah 23, Psalm 83, Zephaniah 2, Hosea 1 and Amos 9 just to name a few) to happen while we are being gathered and grafted in to the house of Israel from out of the nations where we were scattered.

1Pe 5:1 ¶ The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:  Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;   Neither as being lords over God’s heritage (Nicolaitanism), but being ensamples to the flock.  And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
