Most Christians will be taught that all of these commandments have been done away with. But oddly enough, Christians uphold about 75% or so of these commandments if not more. It’s important to know that no one (including Jesus) has ever kept them all – because some were only for the priests/ Levites; some were only for men while others only for women; some were only for a certain point in time; some for Nazirite vows, and over 200 related to the Temple which is not standing today.

Is the whole “Old Testament” the Law? No, we only look to the first 5 books of the Bible and specifically “the book of the Covenant”. Westerners call these 5 books “Pentateuch”, easterners call it “Torah”. Besides Torah, we also have history/ writings, plus prophecies. Torah commandments (Instructions) keep us safe. Kings, judges or priests are the only people who could judge on these matters. Deut. 13 tells us clearly not to diminish from the Torah any commandments, in whole or in part, or to add to them. We also need to understand that since we are called to be priests and kings in the kingdom who will judge in the kingdom, we need to learn that which we will judge by, and WE will be judged by. Faith that brings imputed righteousness gets you in the door when we get there. But hearing, knowing and doing (then teaching) the Torah is what our rewards are based on. The crown of righteousness Paul describes is not imputed righteousness, it is earned righteousness.

It is important to understand that some of these words/ commands from God are commanded to be done at a temple in Jerusalem. There is no temple in Jerusalem right now. Just like we cannot tithe correctly anymore (we can only give offerings and practice tithing), so too have we stopped doing anything related to the temple services. So everything we CAN do we should. Whatever we CAN’T do is not sin, it was intended to be this way until the millennial reign with Messiah as He said he would do Passover WITH us in the Kingdom:

Mt 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

Judgment begins in the house of God (the Kingdom); not in America. The doctrine of the gospel of grace has hidden the Truth from the bride/ remnant in America and abroad. Check out The law is dead post and discuss whether it is or not. Did Jesus only follow 9 of the 10 commandments, or did He follow ALL of the commandments found in the first 5 books of the Bible? We see right away, that Jesus didn’t follow the first commandment to mankind literally (be fruitful and multiply). There are many others that He did not follow. So the lie that He came to “obey ALL the law” so that we didn’t have to falls flat on its face from the very “beginning”. Jesus was quite clear about what He came to do and who He came for:

Mt 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Joh 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Mt 5:17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

He did not come to abolish the laws of His Father, who does NOT change. I know that is not what most churches teach. But it IS what the Bible says, It IS what Jesus said. We have a country full of pastors who talk ABOUT Jesus, but they are fooled about what HE talked about. Let us take a look at these Instructions that christians say are a “burden”, and see how much of that is true and how much of it they are actually doing while they say it is “done away with” in the same breath:
