Debating, Arguing, Discussing and Disagreeing (MIDRASH)

One of the main and most important things that is insufficient with the average/ standard rules of debate is that it is still a MONOLOGUE; The same is true of the average sermon every Sunday.

When something is stated that needs to be “paused” and clarified or discussed further before moving forward in ANY capacity (because everything that follows is dependent on a correct understanding of a foundational idea or definition) then we MUST pause and align our vocabularies and dictionaries.

Countless christian sermons for 2000 years have finished without pause or clarification. Thousands of debates have transpired without the same interruption in taking turns MONLOGUING.

Regardless of whether there are 2 people “on stage” or one person, it’s still giving you the same thing; a MAN’s perspective without the opportunity to align vocabularies/ dictionaries.
